Maye Musk , mother of world’s richest individual Elon Musk , recently shared a photo of a computer aptitude test result he took at the age of 17. The document, from 1989, is signed by the Director of Information Management at the University of Pretoria , where Musk studied for a short time before moving to Canada. The letter says that the tests were done by ISM (SA), and the Tesla CEO and owner of X got A+ grades in both operating systems and programming. “The results were outstanding,” the letter states. Sharing the post on microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter), the ‘proud mom’ of the ‘genius boy’ wrote:
“While sorting through photos, I came across computer aptitude test results of @elonmusk at 17. My genius boy. Proud mom.”
Elon Musk responds to his aptitude test result
Musk responded to his mother’s post, saying:
“They said I scored the highest for engineering aptitude that they had ever seen. Or, in other words, not bad for a human, as a future AI might say.”
X users commented on the photo of Musk’s aptitude test result, calling him a ‘hero’, a ‘genius’ and a ‘legend’. One user said “We The People are Proud of him too…he’s a Legend and a Hero!!! Thank You for him God and Momma Maye!!!”.
“It’s incredible to see such early proof of brilliance! Any mom would be proud—what a wonderful memory to find,” said another. “Elon is one of the most important humans to ever live,” praised another. “I’m glad he had such an encouraging Mom who allowed him to develope and grow. The world is such a better place with him,” said another user. “You have every right to be proud of your genius boy, Maye,” commented a fifth.
