Russian commander says Putin's chopper was 'at epicenter' of Ukrainian drone attack

According to a report by Russian news agency RBC, Yury Dashkin, commander of an air defence division in the region, said that Putin’s aircraft was flying as Russian forces were repelling a significant drone assault by Ukraine. “We were simultaneously engaged in an air defence battle and ensuring airspace security for the president’s helicopter flight,” Dashkin told RBC. “The helicopter was effectively at the epicentre of the response to the massive drone attack.” Read full story

Waterlogging reported in parts of Mumbai

Heavy rainfall in Mumbai on Sunday night caused waterlogging in several areas, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue orange to red alerts for Mumbai and its suburban regions, while also affecting other parts of Maharashtra and Odisha with significant rainfall activity. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) head coach Daniel Vettori has defended Mohammed Shami's poor performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Vettori said lack of T20 cricket (IPL games) has affected Shami in this year's IPL.
