NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday released the 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi ( PM-Kisan ) scheme in Washim, Maharashtra. This instalment is valued at over Rs 20,000 crores.
The amount will be directly transferred to more than 9.4 crore farmers ' bank accounts across the country through Direct Benefit Transfer , without any middlemen.
The PM-Kisan was launched in February 2019 to provide landholding farmers with an annual financial benefit of Rs 6,000, paid in three equal instalments.
The total amount disbursed under the scheme after the release of this installment will exceed Rs 3.45 lakh crore, benefiting over 11 crore farmers nationwide.
In Maharashtra alone, around 1.20 crore farmers have received Rs 32,000 crore, and in this latest instalment, approximately 91.51 lakh farmers will receive over Rs 1,900 crore.

- Visit the official PM-Kisan website.
- Go to the "Beneficiary List" page.
- Enter the required details: state, district, sub-district, block, and village.
- Click on "Get Report" to view the beneficiary list.
- To keep receiving PM-Kisan benefits, farmers must update their eKYC:
- OTP-based eKYC: Available on the PM-Kisan portal and mobile app.
- Biometric eKYC: Accessible at Common Service Centres (CSCs) and State Seva Kendras (SSKs).
- Face Authentication eKYC: Offered on the PM-Kisan Mobile App.
