NEW DELHI: A trainer aircraft belonging to a private aviation academy crashed in Gujarat ’s Mehsana district on Friday, leaving a woman pilot injured, police officials said.
The aircraft crashed near Ucharpi after the female trainee pilot suddenly fell ill. She sustained minor injuries and was taken for treatment, news agency IANS reported.
Police confirmed that an investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of the crash.
