Alongside, BSNL is also gearing up to launch 5G internet services within the next three months, taking a giant step towards providing next-gen connectivity in India.

BSNL has also launched a coverage map tool on its official website that allows users to check real-time network availability—whether 4G or upcoming 5G—in their respective areas.

According to a report by ET Telecom, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has allocated ₹61,000 crore worth of 5G spectrum to BSNL. This includes premium bands like:

Currently, BSNL is testing 5G services in Pune, Coimbatore, Kanpur, Vijayawada, and Kollam, with nationwide rollout expected to begin by June 2025.
