Available now for ChatGPT Plus and Team users, ChatGPT Search combines AI’s natural language processing with the latest information across various domains, from news and sports scores to stock market updates and weather.

OpenAI describes ChatGPT Search as a blend of real-time search capabilities with the ease and intuitiveness of a conversational AI. This latest feature allows ChatGPT to either automatically fetch relevant web data when prompted or respond to users manually clicking the new “Search” option after inputting a question. The result is an integrated, streamlined experience—users ask, ChatGPT answers, and up-to-the-minute sources are seamlessly woven into the conversation.

Collaboration and Transparency with Source Integration

One of the standout aspects of ChatGPT Search is its transparency. Responses are now supplemented with linked sources, such as news articles and blog posts, which can be accessed by clicking the “Sources” button.
