Lava Agni 3 came to the Indian market as the company’s newest midrange device. It came with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen and the refresh rate on the display was set at 120Hz. To further reach some of the features of the smartphone, there was also a 1.74-inch AMOLED touchscreen display. This handset was really flexible as it could have triple rear camera set-up and also a 16-megapixel front camera. The Lava Agni 3 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset with 8GB of RAM and runs on the Android 14 operating system. It comes loaded with a 5,000mAh battery that can charge at 66W.

Price in India, Availability

Lava Agni 3 India price starts at Rs. 20,999 for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, without a charging adapter. The same configuration is available along with a charger at Rs. 22,999. Lava will also sell a 256GB storage variant (charger included) that is priced at Rs. 24,999.

In India, the Lava Agni 3 is reported to be available for purchase from October 9 from 12 am IST through Amazon. It is sold in Heather Glass and Pristine Glass colour variants.

Lava Agni 3 Specifications, Features

Lava Agni 3 sports dual-SIM support in the form of Nano+Nano. The smartphone runs on Android 14. It is also guaranteed to receive three OS version upgrades and four years’ worth of security updates. The phone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,200×2,652 pixels) AMOLED display refreshes at 120Hz and includes up to 1200nits peak brightness. A 1.74-inch AMOLED touch screen is placed at the back, and through this, users can receive calls, respond to messages quickly, take selfies using the rear cameras, manage music, and also set timers or sound alarms.

The device houses a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC. The phone packs 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Interestingly, the company also allows up to 8GB of unused storage to be used as ‘virtual RAM’. Speaking of the ‘Action’ button, the phone comes with a quick toggle for switching between ringer and silent modes. Besides, it can also be used to activate the flashlight, and it also acts as a shutter button for the camera.

The triple camera setup has a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation, 8-megapixel ultrawide camera along with a field of view of 112 degrees and 8 megapixel telephoto camera to allow for 3x optical zoom. It also sports a 16-megapixel camera for selfies, with EIS.

UFS 3.1 storage of up to 256 GB is available, which isn’t expandable via an external microSD card. Dual stereo speakers offer Dolby Atmos Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi-6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port. An accelerometer, gyroscope, e-compass, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor are present.

It has a 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging that can charge the phone up to 50 percent in just 19 minutes. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication too. It measures 163.7×75.53×8.8mm and weighs 212g.
